******PLEASE BE AWARE: We make everything to order, and all orders are shipped via USPS GROUND SHIPPING as soon as the order is made and completely dried. If you prefer quicker delivery you can select Priority USPS 2-3 day delivery shipping and it is generally about $12-15 more for the large brooms and walking sticks, depending upon where you are in the US. All orders are shipped within 1-2 weeks during this time of year.

Our handmade brooms and besoms are made with 100% broom corn and northwest hardwood saplings (a bi-product of a local reforestation project). Attention to detail is paid every step of the way, from harvesting the raw materials, to the finished piece. Please keep in mind when ordering that the brooms are MADE TO ORDER and will not look exactly like the ones in the photos. No two brooms look alike because we take artistic freedom when making them; each stick will be different in personality and there will be variations in the broom corn colors because we dye them by hand.
** Each broom and besom comes with a leather tong attached to the handle and we recommend that you always hang your broom when not using.
Half the fun of ordering online is opening the package to see what unique broom has been made for you. They all have character, they are all very durable, and they all beg to be used!

#1 - ALWAYS HANG YOUR BROOM WHEN NOT USING
#2 - DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BROOM OUTSIDE IN WET CONDITIONS
#3 - IF YOUR BROOM GETS WET, WIPE DRY WITH A TOWEL AND HANG IN A WARM, DRY SPOT.
#4 - IF YOUR BROOM GETS WET AND MILDEW FORMS YOU CAN SPRAY IT LIGHTLY WITH LYSOL OR BLEACH WATER TO KILL THE MOLD, AND USE A DRY TOWEL TO WIPE CLEAN AND DRY. HANG IT UP IN A WARM DRY PLACE.
#5 - BROOMS THAT HAVE CARVINGS: YOU CAN TREAT THE CARVING BY WIPING IT DOWN WITH LINSEED OIL OR ANY OTHER NATURAL OIL TO PRESERVE THE CARVING.
DO WE OFFER CUSTOM BROOMS?
We do not currently offer custom brooms, however, you can request a "straight" or "crooked" and a "thick" or "thin" handle by making a "note to seller" when placing your order. You are welcome to be as specific as you like, but it may hold up your order if we don't have the exact broomstick you are looking for on hand.
Can we rush your order?
You are welcome to ask, but generally during the holiday season (which is August-December) we can not offer expedited shipping. The brooms are made to order and require time to dry. We start new orders every Monday, so if you place your order on a Tuesday it won't be made till the next Monday, to be shipped by that Friday or after the following weekend if it is not completely dry.
We sometimes have extra in stock, so it doesn't hurt to ask.
What is the best way to reach us if you have a question?
We prefer that you message us using the ETSY messaging system so that we can keep all your information within the ETSY system so that it's easy for us to find if we need to. If you have an urgent message please type "URGENT" into the message title, and I'll do my best to respond as quickly as possible.
I generally check messages in the evening or early morning before work, because I have my hands pretty full for the majority of the day. I also try to take the weekends off, so you may not hear back from me right away if you message after 5 on Friday thru Sunday. I do check to see if there are any "URGENT" messages however, so make sure to type "URGENT" in the message title and I'll be able to help you.
